Pantua is a traditional Bengali sweet made of deep-fried balls of semolina, chhana, milk, ghee and sugar syrup. Cardamom is added as flavouring to the sweet. It is similar to gulab jamun, and is also known as the Bengali variant of that dish. Each piece weighs 50-55 gm.
